  1. Interesting use of tools and I like how you adapted your plans after realizing that you did not know enough of METs to use it. I myself have had to use fits and it can be quirky at times. This gets worse if you are trying to use it with an unstable system like I was as part of a different class. It gave me the same appreciation for all our metadata tools as I learned just how difficult it can be without them.

    1. Thanks, James, and I’m happy to hear I’m not the only one finding FITS mildly troublesome. Metadata tools… can’t live with ’em, can’t live without ’em.

      1. The work involved with the metadata sounds like a project unto itself. I’m impressed by the detail and need to look into DataAccessioner – that’s a tool I haven’t heard of. Thanks for the screen grabs and your effort here!
