This is the course blog for LBSC 784 Digital Preservation at the University of Maryland. You can find the syllabus for the course online here. If you look around, you will also see that it is the same course blog I have used for my other digital preservation, curation and history courses.
If you are taking the course, here are a few things you should do in advance of our first class on September 1st.
- Read the syllabus.
- Pick the three weeks that you want to blog about the readings and act as a discussant for and put in your name on that week on the syllabus.
- Do the readings for the first week of class.
- Register for an account on the blog, then email me (trevor dot johnowens at gmail dot com) your username so that I can give you permission to post to the blog.
