The American Association of Geographers sounds like a really cool institution. It sounds like they will really benefit from working on a digital preservation plan with them. Do they have any active digital repositories for their digital content to be stored or accessed? Do they have a staff big enough to handle a hands on approach to digital preservation, or would a digital management system, like ArchivesSpace or Preservica, help them take care of the heavy lifting? It sounds like you may have a lot of freedom in exploring the many ways you can carry out digital preservation and that could be exciting having so much currently undecided.
