  1. Great job on your policy. I like that you mention that the policy is a living document at the beginning. I think it’s important that it’s clear that digital preservation policies aren’t set in stone, and as technology and best practices change, so should this document. You may want to include some fixed amount of time for how often the policy is reviewed and revised. Maybe yearly or every 5 years.

    You mentioned the role that non-digital preservation employees will play, effectively backing up documents on the network server so that its captured in EDRMS. It important to clearly state the roles staff play in digital preservation. You could consider mentioning a required digital preservation training that all staff have to complete yearly, ensuring that they know the importance of digital preservation and how to implement it.
